Title: What Does Trust and Safety in Virtual Reality Really Mean?

Description:

Virtual reality is fast becoming the primary location where people live, work and play, but can virtual environments be trusted, are they safe, can you be physically hurt? We will dive into the risks already occurring in the virtual world, as well as how brands can build trust and safety in VR. Our panel will help the audience understand the challenges of jurisdiction, what fair moderation looks like and what role automation (AI) plays in rule enforcement. In the near future, every company will have some kind of presence in VR; when there is a trust and safety issue, will corporate security organizations be ready to tackle it? This panel discussion will prepare and empower attendees by identifying common pitfalls and challenges.

  • Participants will be able to identify what crime and risks are present in virtual reality and how to prevent, limit or moderate it.
  • Participants will be able to identify what policies and procedures you’ll need when your organization adopts a virtual reality work environment.
  • Participants will be able to identify the knowledge, skills and abilities future team members will need to manage risks in virtual reality.
